i dont remember the name, it was a game from google play but got removed, at some point i could find it in my previous downloaded game, but not anymore. there were tech trees, but you can only get better tanks while in the match destroying enemys in a FFA style match(u start with a panzer I, if u destroy enough player/ai you can get up to a maus), there were no characters, only mini tanks in cartoon style.

Guin Saga by Kaoru Kurimoto - A Personal Favourite & Highly Recommended

First published in Japan in 1979, Guin Saga is, as far as I'm aware, the longest traditionally published story written by a single author, with Kurimoto having written 130 volumes by the time of her unfortunate death due to cancer. The series today stands at 149 novels with various side story novels. Cover art and interior illustrations are by Naoyuki Kato. Guin Saga is a personal favourite of mine, first discovering it as it was influential on the manga series Berserk by Kentaro Miura, another favourite of mine. Make no mistake, this is not typical anime trope ridden Japanese light novel fiction. This is Western style S&S/Heroic Fantasy with scenes very reminiscent of certain Conan and Kull stories (which I'm sure some of you may guess based on the illustrations). Actual information of Kurimoto and Guin Saga in English is limited, despite its popularity and success in Japan, I haven't found confirmation, but I'm convinced that Kurimoto had read Western Fantasy novels, likely Howard and Moorcock and possibly even Tolkien and used that as influence for this series. Unlike a lot of translated fiction, Guin Saga doesn't have the clunky prose due to the translator, Alexander O. Smith having an impressive resume, having worked on various popular video games including Final Fantasy, Vagrant Story, Tactics Ogre and Ace Attorney among others. Smith has also translated various light novel and manga series like Dr Slump, the first successful manga series by Akira Toriyama more famously known for his second big series, Dragon Ball. If none of this has convinced you then I hope the illustrations at the very least has someone curious enough to check Guin Saga out as I genuinely believe this series deserves a lot more love, its a shame we only got the first 5 volumes here in the West.

REA pushing for signed offer despite 200k below advertised asking price?

We are FHBs and saw that a property we had an eye on was passed in at auction - there was only one registered bidder and the vendors must not have been happy with their price. At the time we expressed conditional interest based on due diligence - the REA immediately asked us what our offer was because they were currently negotiating with the other unconditional buyer at the back. We gave our price and the REA was keen for us to sign an S&P, but we refused because we hadn't yet shown the contract to our lawyer. The following day we noticed the property advert has been updated with an asking price that is 200k above our offer! We feel like our offer was never going to be accepted and the REA knows that. So why are they continuing to ask us for a signed S&P? We haven't confronted them about the advertised price yet. Is it just to drive the other offer higher? To say it's a multi offer situation? We don't want to miss out on the property if the vendor would actually be happy with our price and I assume the REA has relayed that number to the vendor. On the other hand, we don't want our ("low") offer to be used to pressure some poor other buyers into paying more. It feels like the REA wants our signed S&P in bad faith if the asking price is 200k above our offer. What's the best way to approach this? Is it standard for buyers to sign a S&P with their offer on it before knowing if it will get accepted by the vendor? (We haven't been given any multi-offer documentation.)
